The Sunset West Alliance is a coalition of neighborhood and community leaders from communities along and around Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood and Los Angeles.

We came together because we care about the future of Sunset and want to see it thrive. Sunset is one of Los Angeles’ great commercial corridors, but it is also unusually closely connected to the residential neighborhoods around it. Decisions about development, businesses, nightlife, signage, traffic and public safety affect both the vitality of the Boulevard and the quality of life of the people who live nearby.

We believe Sunset’s future should include a diverse and economically sustainable mix of businesses and uses, thoughtful development, strong public safety and infrastructure, and meaningful consideration of surrounding communities. Our goal is to bring neighborhood voices together across city boundaries and ensure they have a meaningful role in shaping the future of Sunset Boulevard.
